The Derbyshire Ornithological Society's County Bird list stands at 317 species, 130 of which have bred. Around 200 species of birds are recorded every year in Derbyshire. These are detailed in the annual Derbyshire Bird Reports produced by the Derbyshire Ornithological Society.
